During that competition, Mikayla won two awards and ended up in the news for her heroic efforts. It’s been a tough ride for La Ostergren, who claims to have been bullied at school because of her 40-inch long legs. “When I was born, my legs were crooked because they didn’t have enough room in my mother’s womb,” she said.
