Underground Tunnels – Kiev, Ukraine
This abandoned underground tunnel is beneath Kiev, Ukraine. Its subway system was built during Soviet times but poor planning resulted in broken floors and irregular routes.
Today, it is basically forbidden to visit the site due to the dangers that surround it. Some people sneak in and take some pictures, including this one. We can see that it is still flooded with electrical wires hanging from the top. Stay away!
Snow Church – Canada
This Canadian church stood high in the field for 100 years before being abandoned. It served as the congregation area for Catholics who met weekly. Unfortunately, due to changing climates, citizens moved and left the building virtually empty.
Since no one wants to be the person responsible for demolishing a church, the building still stands today. It has been left alone and can be admired by passing people who can see how it rests on white snow.
