The Kiev Ship – Kiev
This ship was abandoned and is a reminder of the Soviet era. The ship was designed to make voyages along the Dnieper, in Kiev, to the Kiev Sea. Today, it remains the only single-deck high-speed passenger ship.
At its peak, it is estimated that the rocket, called ‘Sunrise’, could travel at speeds of up to 60km. The ship has been abandoned and left to nature. Adventurous explorers can visit it, although government officials do not recommend it.
Hotel del Salto – Colombia
This hotel was built to have a view of the Bogotá River. Built in 1928, it gave tourists the opportunity to get close to waterfalls and Mother Nature. Due to a number of security concerns over time, the building was closed in 1991.
Today, locals believe the property is haunted! Visitors often venture to the property, but hear strange noises at night. It is not recommended to visit the Hotel Del Salto after dark! Would you dare to go?
