6) Tail low and contracted
If you see that the cat is tense and that its hind limb is low or moves it with a little nervousness, it means that it is in hunter mode, it is stalking a prey. Even if they are domestic and/or neutered cats, they generally do not lose the instinct of hunting and have fun capturing small rodents, birds and insects, it also happens with some luminous effects such as the laser pointer or the reflection of a mirror.
7) With the tail between the legs
This is a sign that something is about to happen or that something is really bothering the cat. When it has its tail between its legs, it feels threatened or scared and doesn’t know how to react. It may calm down, run away or attack something that is threatening.
