These places were abandoned years ago. Look at them today

Michigan Central Railroad Station – USA

This train station once had it all. Built in 1913, it promised to bring all the talent from the surrounding Midwestern United States. But as soon as the city’s economy began to fade, the station itself began to do so.

It was closed in 1988 and is still standing, but empty, today. It has become a base element in Michigan, with rapper Eminem using it to shoot his film, 8 Miles. Rumor has it that Ford plans to buy it.

I.M. Cooling Tower – Belgium

This amazing place is home to a cooling tower. Located in an old power plant in Monceau, Belgium, the structure is mostly abandoned today. It was used in the 1900s, but the government shut it down and has no plans to reopen it.

Perhaps in the future, the government or private companies will decide what to do with the enormous space it occupies. For now, it rests alone without being occupied.
